Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Rosewine

I've somewhat re-discovered Rosewine recently and just love it at the moment.

The lipstick:

Let's break down the good and the bad!

The Good
  • Interesting yet versatile colour; wear it on its own or pair with smokey eyes
  • Affordable!
  • Stays put relatively well! Maintains good stain even after eating and drinking (eating carefully, that is, don't expect lipsticks to last after a cheeseburger or anything)
  • Moisturising and hydrates the lips

The Bad
  • Interesting colour; I know this is one of The Good but I actually didn't like the shade at first. It took me a while to get used to it, and to love it

Swatches:

The colour of Rosewine is a mixture of pink and some brown. The brown looks stronger when I look at the tube but when applied, the brown will show up less on me.

The lippie on me:

I tried to take photos in as many different lightings as I could. As you can see, practically every single photo gives out a different hue of brownish pink.

I've been a loyal fan of Revlon Super Lustrous Creme lipsticks range since I started loving makeup; my favourite shades besides Rosewine are Fire & Ice, Fleshtone, Rose Velvet, and Bali Brown.
